We are back!

We made it! We made it home from Michigan in one piece and had the BEST time! I loved it there. I can't even express how much I loved it there.

We got there and the trees were beautiful. Fall was in full swing there. I wish Florida was like that. It makes me so much more motivated to get done with school and get out of here.

Branden grew up in such a cute town. It overlooks Lake Huran and is just gorgeous there in the Fall. I am sure in the winter it is no picnic but Fall is amazing. It was cold...very cold but I loved every minute of the trip.

I will post more tomorrow because we just spent a total of about 13 hours traveling and waiting around in airports today.

Michigan or Bust!

Tomorrow we leave for Michigan! This is my first time going there. It is kind of neat because that is where my Grandpa was born.

We leave super early in the morning, which is always kind of nice and not so nice all at the same time. I hate not getting enough sleep when I have to travel but I would rather travel early then later in the day.

Once we get there we have a 5 hour drive just to get to Rogers City, where Branden is originally from.

Nicole is getting married on Saturday so that should be fun. I hope there is a lots of dancing!

Halloween Horror Nights 2009

Last night was a great night. My Dad bought the family tickets to Halloween Horror Nights. It was so much fun.

To say the least I was terrified...basically freaking out before I even got into the park.

We got there early, around 6:30, so it was still light out and the first scare zone we went through wasn't to scary. I just acted like I wasn't scared and would look at the people so they thought I wasn't an easy scare and made it through.

We went into five haunted houses, Wolfeman, Dracula, Saw, Chucky and Frankenstein. My favorite was Saw since I have seen almost all the movies but the scariest was Dracula.

I loved it and went into all the haunted houses even though I was terrified. I think I said I wasn't going to go into any of the houses and right before each and yet I still got the courage to do it. I was very proud of myself.

Bran and I really enjoyed it. It was also nice not having to drive since Dad drove Mom, Ash and us there. It was like being a kid again. We used to take these trips all the time as a kid and haven't in a long time. It was great even though it was only one night.

We are back to reality today.

Tomorrow is Jason's wedding!
